Mark worked with Willowbrook Homecare for a period of around 3 months, initially providing interim management support at one of our Homecare branches due to the unexpected absence of the Manager. From day one, Mark provided valuable support to the staff team during a time of uncertainty, Mark reviewed branch compliance, developed action plans and started to progress actions to address issues identified.
Once a manager was appointed, Mark supported with the implementation of our new digital system across Willowbrook whilst assessing information held against compliance requirements and reporting findings.
Mark's exemplary interpersonal skills and professionalism provided invaluable support to the Company through a time of unexpected uncertainty and change.
Mark came in to our care home at very short notice when we had an unexpected long term absence within our management team and was with us for around 8 weeks in the capacity of interim manager. He did an excellent job in helping to coalesce the workforce over what was an extremely busy and short staffed period. During his time with us he built excellent relationships with staff, residents and relatives, as well as making useful and positive improvements to our documentation processes. We had a care inspection during his time with us and our grades went up on the back of that inspection. We would be happy to have him back with us if the need ever arose.
I would also like to pass on some positive comments about Mark. I would like to say he was extremely professional, courteous and extremely helpful in giving key insights to which I am happy with having him conduct the mock inspection
I started working in health and social care in 1999 as a carer and have worked my way up the health and social carer pathway. I have been a Registered Manager or Area Manager since 2007. In July 2021 I set up my own consulantancy firm as I wanted support other Care Providers and Registered Managers. I take great pride in supporting those who are struggling with meeting regulations, running care services and with business development including occupany support. I love writing and providing personal centred care plans to ensure residents preferences and personal needs are met.
